What's Here
Providing organization
A Child's Place
A Child's Place serves as a contact point for child abuse assessments. The primary goal is for child victims to avoid multiple interviews at multiple locations, by bringing a team of professionals to the child. A coordinated MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) approach is used that brings together representatives from law enforcement, child protective services, victim advocacy, as well as forensic interviewers, medical professionals, and family advocates, who collaborate on cases.
