Focus Population

Supports children's education, promotes economic development, and addresses other social barriers facing residents. Contracts with community organizations to provide afterschool programs in schools for K to 5 and middle/high school students. Provides leadership, funding, training, and resources to help improve the quality of afterschool programming, particularly for the children in Pittsburgh's African-American and lower income neighborhoods.
