Eligibility
Program: Juveniles who are dependent as a result of abuse and/or neglect Volunteer: Opportunities open to anyone over the age of 21; Willing to commit to 12-24 months of volunteering
Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

To inquire about volunteer opportunities and our next training session for volunteers contact the office at [email protected]. Volunteers will complete an application, an interview, and training before being considered to be an advocate.

Service area

Recruits, screens, trains, and supervises volunteer advocates who are then appointed by the Juvenile Judge to advocate for the best interests of abused and/or neglected children. Offers services that may include: Advocating for abused and/or neglected children involved in dependency court proceedings; Independently investigating facts of the case for the court; Making recommendations to the court based on case facts and information gathered; Monitors court orders to ensure services are provided to and utilized by the child and family; Attending all meetings and court proceedings.
