City of Pittsburgh residents
Early Head Start serves children from pregnancy to 36 months. Head Start programs & Pre-K Counts serves children from age 3 to 5 years old.
Early Intervention for Children with Disabilities/Delays is available for children from birth through age 5.

Application process
Application required for student acceptance into the program. The application can be downloaded from the intake website, or call or email to request a paper copy sent by mail.
Fees
The fee for the Early Childhood Program is $650/month. Depending on income, some applicants may qualify for a Head Start or State funded scholarship.
