Provides classroom training and eligible participants may qualify for a down payment and closing cost loan to purchase their first home. The classes include the following topics: - Making the home purchase decision - Your credit report and what it means - What lenders expect from borrowers - Understanding real estate terms - Roles of the real estate agent - Finding a home you can afford - Financial planning and money management - Maintaining your new home - Predatory lending Provides web learning platform called eHome America for convenience to their clients. Classes are offered in English and Spanish Eligible participants may also qualify for a Home Buyer Loan for closing costs: - CHB Loans at 0% interest with no monthly payments - Repayment is due on sale or refinancing of the home or if the home is no longer the buyer's primary residence - Funds are subject to availability
