Joseph's People

Josephs People, Ltd. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation, founded at St. Josephs Church in Downingtown, PA in 1995 to serve the unemployed and underemployed people in our community. We are run entirely by volunteers and have no paid staff. We are non- denominational and ecumenical. It does not matter where you live, what religion you are or are not, how long you have been out of work, or what kind of work you need. All are welcome.Since 1995, Joseph's People has helped more than 4,000 clients to recover from their job loss. Our goal is to help you find a family-supporting position and benefits, and to provide you with friendship, understanding and a support network while you go through this difficult transition. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, Joseph's People has put in-person meetings of its membership on temporary hiatus.
