Trains and provides service dogs and hearing dogs to assist children and adults with disabilities to become more independent. Services include training of assistance dogs; training for individuals who receive SSD dogs; follow-up and retraining for working teams as needed; and demonstrations for community groups interested in furthering SSD's mission.
