Focus Population
- Low Income
Prepares adult job seekers for full time employment through an intensive multi-day Workshop. Assists course graduates with resume' preparation, interview skill building, job searching, overcoming barriers to employment, financial planning, maintaining and developing job skills, and reaching goals for job advancement. Pottstown Works also offers on-going mentoring, technical resource (access to computers, printers one-on one assistance) for all graduates.
A similar program is provided in collaboration with the Pottstown School District to help guide high school students through the process of finding a job.

Assists individuals and families with a Wednesday meal and Thursday food pantry; families experiencing homelessness in need of emergency shelter; individuals and families in a situation of chronic homelessness and with a disabling condition in need of permanent supportive housing; families seeking to break the cycle if crisis; adults seeking job readiness skills to prepare for full time employment; and spiritual needs and programming. The Salvation Army is serving the people, and meeting the needs of the community.
