Offers a range of programs and services for veterans, including transitional housing and reintegration support through United Veterans Beacon House; the Military Support Package Project for deployed service members, as well as care packages for veteran families and Veteran Service Officers (VSOs); support for incarcerated veterans through the Veterans in Conflict with the Law program; competitive racing opportunities with Team Veteran Leader; veteran information services, casework assistance, counseling resources and referrals, and access to a 24-hour 1-800-VIETNAM phone line; and community-focused initiatives such as the Veteran Leader newsletter, VVnW websites, education and scholarship programs, the FIND-A-VET Locator program, flag awareness campaigns, and other outreach services.
