Provides opportunities to assist participants in acquiring, retaining and improving communication, socialization, self-direction, self-help, and adaptive skills necessary to reside in the community. These activities usually done at home may include bathing, dressing, and eating. Also includes acquiring and improving skills to participate in community activities such as shopping and recreation.

Provides developmental screenings for children, developmental services for individuals, and social services for families.
