Maternal and Child Health Program

Uses a unique peer support model that uses shared language, cultural expertise, advocacy, lived experiences, and system navigation knowledge to help individuals and families overcome social determinants and improve their health outcomes. Aims to ensure timely and relevant access to pre and post natal care for the target population.

Provides culturally sensitive health, human, and educational services to African and Caribbean immigrants and refugees (ACIR) in the greater Philadelphia area. Maintains a presence in the community through street outreach and building relationships with community establishments, braiding salons, churches, mosques, community organizations and associations, stores, restaurants and schools located in the geographic area populated by our target population.
