Maternal and Family Health Services - Nurse-Family Partnership
The Nurse-Family Partnership Program helps new moms by providing: A) Specially trained registered nurse to partner with moms-to-be starting early in pregnancy and continuing through the child’s second birthday B) Care and support needed for a healthy pregnancy, and a healthy, thriving baby C) Resources and advice to keep babies healthy and safe as they grow, learn, and develop D) Voluntary, free support for moms-to-be E) Trusting relationship with a nurse who will help new moms build their confidence, achieve their goals, and create a brighter future for themselves and their babies

Hours
Hours vary on nurse’s and clients' schedule. Visits with nurses take place on a regular basis as scheduled, usually every week or every other week before and after the birth of the baby.

Fee
The Nurse-Family Partnership is a free program for low-income prenatal mothers.
Eligibility
Enrollment is required during pregnancy. Earlier in pregnancy is preferred (ideally before 28 weeks), but enrollment can take place any time prior to delivery. Income guidelines: 235% of the federal poverty level. If you have WIC or Medical Assistance you are eligible.
