Prenatal/Postpartum Support (Home Visiting)

Works to improve maternal and child health through education, advocacy, case management, and information and referral to community-based services. Emphasizes prenatal care, breastfeeding education, health education, and family planning. Also provides postpartum depression screening, intervention and referral, and parenting classes for mothers and their partners. Eligible participants may receive diapers, books, educational toys, and other household items.

Residents of Allegheny County, within select zip codes; Women who are pregnant, new parents, or families who have children up to the age of 2 years old; Partners of the mothers receiving services.
