Mental Health Partnerships - Special Education Project of PIN

Works to protect the rights of children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders in the educational system. The program monitors the Philadelphia School District to make sure it is fulfilling its legal obligation to provide both an education and appropriate services to children who have been determined to have special needs and, as a result, have an Individualized Education Program.
