Eligibility

Assistance for rent payment requires an eviction notice from landlord who must sign consent form. Assistance for utilities requires an utility company shut-off service termination notice. For assistance with heating fuel - must first have used LIHEAP funds.

Call to discuss need and set up an appointment. Family Promise of Pike County will do an intake for assistance from the Salvation Army Pike County.

Client may be asked to share in cost.

Provides emergency assistance such as help with food, rent, heating fuel and utilities on a case by case basis contingent upon available funds. Will connect with other county agencies/programs as funds are limited.
