Family Services of NW PA - Statewide Adoption Network (SWAN)
Works with the Statewide Adoption Network (SWAN) to provide services to children and to provide homestudy services to individuals or couples interested in adopting a child from the Child Welfare System. Services to children include child profiles, child preparation and child specific recruitment. Services to individuals and couples interested in adoption include homestudy services, diligent recruitment services, placement services and supervision services once a child match is made. The children that are available for adoption through this program have been exposed to some form of physical, sexual or emotional abuse or neglect.
