Milagro House

While Milagro House is not an emergency shelter, it provides opportunities for women with children experiencing poverty/homelessness to access educational opportunities (GED or post-secondary) while living at Milagro House with their children (0-age 12). Currently, Milagro House has the capacity to serve 9 mothers and their children residentially. Milagro House also serves women interested in obtaining their GED on a nonresidential basis if spaces are available in their on-site classroom. In addition to offering opportunities for educational attainment, Milagro House provides comprehensive, supportive services including customized case management, life-skills programming and workforce development. Comprehensive post-program support is provided through the Beyond Milagro House program.
