Montgomery County Community Action Development Commission - Dollar Energy Fund Hardship Program
Provides one-time water service payment assistance grants to Pennsylvania American Water (PAW) customers that are applied directly to their utility bill. Maximum grant amount is $500. If applicants are eligible and programs are open, applicants must apply for LIHEAP and CRISIS before applying for this program. If a customer's utility service is off or in threat of termination when they apply and the maximum grant amount will not restore service or stop termination, the application will be denied.

Eligibility
A) PAW customers with bill balance of at least $100 who have paid at least $100 in the past 3 months B) Customers ages 62+ with $0 bill balance and no existing credit on the account who have paid at least $50 in the past 3 months. C) Residential accounts; named individual on account must be currently living there D) Gross household income must be at or below 200% of Federal Poverty Income Guidelines
