Description
Overnight respite camp is modeled after their summer camp allowing them to provide two days and nights of respite for families. Held at the campus of the Pocono Environmental Education Center. Activities include seasonal and nature inspired arts and crafts, birdwatching, nature hikes, animal studies, foliage exploration and more. For ages 10 to adult. Staffing ratio 1:3. TSS and other staff welcome.

Creates life-changing solutions for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities, autism and other social, sensory and developmental disorders and their families through a variety programs designed to increase independence, maximize opportunities, minimize barriers and enhance quality of life. Provides Early Intervention services for children starting at birth and free developmental screenings to ensure early identification of potential delays when it is most critical. Pediatric outpatient therapy and medical clinics are provided at our center in Reading. Offers summer day camps and overnight camp; weekend respite camp; autism diagnostic clinic; ABA therapy coaching for parents of children with autism; community supports/habilitation for adults; and programs to prepare high school students to transition into employment, and support for adults who want to secure and/or maintain employment..
