Emergency Rental Assistance
Provides one-time rental deposit assistance for persons and families who are experiencing homelessness. Provides rent payment assistance for persons and families at imminent risk of homelessness. Clients may only receive either form of assistance once every two years.

Application is required. Attention residents of Chester County: Effective February 16, 2024 @5pm, the Chester County Emergency Rent and Utility Assistance (ERAP) program that supported individuals and families who experienced a reduction in household income, significant costs related to housing, or financial hardship during, or due to COVID-19, will be closed to new applications. If you applied for ERAP prior to February 16th, please contact the provider you were assigned to directly.
