Description

Provides food vouchers to eligible seniors to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs from approved Farmers' Markets in Pennsylvania. Vouchers are not able to be used on citrus fruits, bananas, pineapples or other produce that is not grown or produced in Pennsylvania. Each eligible senior may receive $25. Available only in the summer months between June and November, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Provides information and referral services, care management of Aging programs, Insurance / Medicare counseling, Home Delivered Meals, In-Home Personal Care, Personal Emergency Response Systems, Adult Daycare Services, Senior Community Center, Protective Services, Level of Care assessments and Volunteer opportunities.
