Mental Health America of Lancaster County - Mental Health Advocacy, Education and Support

Provides information and support concerning mental and emotional illnesses, including guidance to mental health services, education, family and individual advocacy as well as referrals to local psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and therapists. Offers advocacy and PEER support for individuals with a mental illness and their families. Also offers support for families of children with Individual Education Plans in schools. Conducts educational presentations for schools, clubs, employers, businesses and community groups on topics related to mental health. Makes referrals for anger management and community support groups.

Offers personalized advocacy services for individuals (adults and children) with mental illness, along with hosting ongoing support groups covering a range of mental health challenges. Also hosts the Compeer program, which provides companionship to those with a mental illness.
