Family Services of NW PA - Family Preservation Services (FPS)
A home based intervention for families involved with the Office of Children and Youth (OCY). This program provides family counseling, parenting skills, case management and crisis intervention. The program strengthens at-risk families and/or children returning from placement.

Eligibility
Families with children birth to eighteen years and currently receiving services from county Children and Youth Services, either open at intake or open for on-going services. The placement of the child appears imminent. At least one parent/caretaker with whom the child resides consents to work with the intensive service. Family members agree that they are in a crisis and they permit services in their home at least 2 time per week.
