Description

Recruits, trains, and supervises community volunteers to accept court-appointed cases of abuse and neglect. Volunteer advocates investigate and monitor facts in the case and present their findings and recommendations to the presiding children's court judge.

Statewide non-profit organization that develops and supports local CASA programs. CASAs are trained volunteers who, when authorized by a judge, speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court. Local CASA associations recruit, train and support their own volunteers.
