Children's Aid Society of Mercer County - Creating Foundations

Creating Foundations is a mentoring program modeled after "Safe Families for Children" in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The purpose of this program is to connect youth and young adults who are between the ages of 14-26 and who are aging out of the Pennsylvania foster care system with a mentor or mentor family who will assist them with the transition into adulthood. The goal of making these connections is that they develop into a lifelong support for the young adults in the program.
