CHILD ELIGIBILITY: Children between the ages of 6 through young adulthood in Erie and Crawford Counties can be matched at the request of the parent/guardian. VOLUNTEER ELIGIBILITY: Volunteers in Erie and Crawford Counties must be at least 18 years old at the time of inquiry; must have access to a vehicle, proof of a valid Pennsylvania driver's license, and proper insurance liability coverage; must demonstrate reasonable stability in his/her home life; must be capable of making a minimum commitment of one year; must have the interest and ability to work with children and be respectful of the safety of children; must demonstrate a stable vocational position such as employment, school, and/or homemaking; must demonstrate a willingness to follow program policies and procedures and to cooperate with program staff.
