A board run organization that provides short-term food assistance to community residents in need within the Warwick School District. Mission statement: To assist families and individuals residing in the Warwick School District by providing food and assistance during temporary situations when other agency resources are not available. An all-volunteer organization who operate on the motto “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.” They work in various capacities to assist residents with solutions to short-term food insecurity. This hyper-local focus allows them to target the needs of their community and efficiently deploy their assets. They deliver donated non-perishable food and hygiene items as well as fresh produce, dairy and meat products to the client’s home, maintaining dignity, privacy and flexibility. This also affords service to those without transportation.
