Young people ages 14-24 residing in Allegheny County or the City of Pittsburgh who meet income guidelines are eligible. No prior work experience is necessary.

A collaboration of Pittsburgh-area employers, educators, labor unions, policy makers and community-based organizations united to bridge the gap between job seekers and companies in need of talent. Helps Pittsburgh-area businesses by offering training funding to bring new workers on board, as well as with customized job training programs. Helps jobseekers by providing free training opportunities in Pittsburgh and connections with a variety of job-search services. Helps young people by providing paid summer internships at major corporations in Pittsburgh and other career exploration activities. Works with educators to ensure that training programs match employer demand. Provides research to policymakers on unemployment rates, employment trends and job outlooks.
