Eligibility

Primarily serves low-income residents of Mercer County.

Hours

Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 4:00pm Friday, 9:00 to 3:00pm Limited hours are available for drop-in appointments on Wednesdays, 10:0am to 12:00pm, and 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

Application process

Call for appointment. Drop-in day is Wednesday, from 10:00am to 12:00pm (noon), and 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

Description

Offers emotional and financial support for those in crisis. Assessment conducted by Crisis Intervention Specialist to determine client needs. Provides eviction and utility termination assistance and referrals to other in-house services. Assistance for various needs is based on available funding.

Provides support and offers opportunities to strengthen families, build community, and reduce poverty throughout Mercer County. Teaches the skills and provides the tools necessary for people to help themselves and each other. Operates a thrift store, provides volunteer opportunities, food services, and emergency assistance for those facing eviction and utility shut-offs.
