Nixon Park Nature Center

Supports a wide variety of plant and animal life. Operates a Nature Center featuring live reptiles, a children’s touch room, bird feeder observation windows, an extensive preserved insect collection, and interactive educational displays focused on PA natural history. Offers several park amenities including hiking trails and various special events/programs throughout the year.

Nature Center: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30am to 4:30pm; Sunday, 12:00pm to 4:30pm Park Grounds: Daily, Dawn to Dusk Administration Office: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm; Closed daily, 12:30pm to 1:00pm
