Eligibility
Families who have an at risk youth age 10 to 18 who have a mental health
diagnosis (MA funded clients only). Child must be exhibiting or is at
risk for Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Disruptive
Behavior Disorder, substance abuse, delinquency or violence. Families
must agree to participate in services.

Provides a family-based approach to working with youth with behavioral health needs who display disruptive conduct and a range of delinquent or other maladaptive behaviors. Utilizes specific techniques to engage and motivate families and especially deals with the intense negative affect of anger and hopelessness that prevents change. Additional phases and techniques improve family communication and conflict resolution, problem solving skills and provides them with better access to other system resources.
