Eligibility
The following individuals are eligible for assistance from Army Emergency
Relief:
- Soldiers on extended active duty and their dependents.
- Members of the Reserve Components of the Army (National Guard
- Soldiers retired from active duty because of longevity or physical
- Widows, widowers and orphans of Soldiers who died while on active

Provides zero-interest loans, grants, and scholarships to Active Duty and Retired Soldiers, Reserve and National Guard mobilized for more than 30 continuous days, and their Families of all eligible Soldiers.
