Independent Senior Citizen Resource Centers in York County - Delta Area Community Senior Center

Offers a community facility in which older persons can make new friends, learn a skill, enhance significance, preserve dignity, or just kick back and enjoy life. Provides a hot nutritionally balanced lunch, a wide variety of recreational activities including bingo, pinochle and other card games, board games, creative writing, arts & crafts, song, dance, and live entertainment, and a variety of bus trips and outings. Assists in medical services with a registered nurse who comes every month to check weight and blood pressure and can answer or make referrals on medical questions. Additionally, a certified podiatrist comes to the center every 9 weeks for toenail cutting and minor foot problems.

Call for more information. For lunch, the menu is available at the center and you must call the center two days in advance to reserve your meal.

Nominal fee for some activities; Nutrition: Services free of charge to members, however, a donation is suggested; Medical: Medicare will pay for this service if your deductible is met
