Founded in 1972 as a diagnostic, evaluation and outpatient mental health program, Human Services is a multi-purpose agency offering an array of services to Chester County residents. These include comprehensive information and referral services, services to the homeless, and mental health services and activities to provide for the prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of mentally ill or emotionally troubled adults and children. HSI remains committed to a philosophy of expanding community-based MH services and providing quality care that is responsive to the needs of the individual in the most appropriate, least intrusive manner.
