Improves the quality of care for heart and stroke patients by providing training for medical professionals and educating the public about the warning signs of stroke, and providing resources for stroke survivors and caregivers. National organization supports heart and stroke research and disseminates medical advances and new treatment guidelines though journals, conferences and online courses.
