Eligibility

If you have an active shut-off notice, we ask that you don't wait until the day before or day of your shut-off because processing grants may take up to 2-3 business days. We cannot guarantee that your application will stop a shut-off, but we do our best. If the amount due on your is greater than a maximum grant, you will need to make the co-payment first before the grant will be applied to your account to stop the shut-off. If you cannot make the copayment required, you will receive referrals that may be able to assist you with the copayment.

Begins October 1st, 2025 Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to noon and 1:00pm to 4:00pm Friday, 9:00am to noon

By appointment only. Must provide information over the phone for agent to input into the UGI system first to determine elgibility.

Provides energy assistance grants to qualified UGI customers who experience difficulty paying their gas/heating bills or UGI gas utility already shut off.
