All clients must pre-register for the service before requesting a trip. Clients may be eligible for one or more funding programs. Some of the sources that provide funding for eligible county residents include: Shared Ride Program for Senior Citizens; Individuals aged 60 and older may use Shared Ride trips for a medical appointment, banking, grocery shopping, employment, post office, senior center, adult day care center, pharmacy, social service agency, Laundromat, hospital/nursing home admittanceor discharge, and visiting for immediate family members (spouse or children). There is no charge if you have registered with the Cumberland County Area Agency on Aging. Varies. There is no charge if you have registered with the Cumberland County Area Agency on Aging. If you are 65 or older and have registered with the Lottery program, you would pay the reduced fare (15% of the full fare). The public mass transportation provider offers free transportation during non-peak hours, however, you must obtain an ID card from the provider. Call for information.
