Description
Authorized to collect various delinquent county taxes. May set up payment schedules for persons who, through no fault of their own have been unable to meet their tax burden, and who prove good faith. Coordinates with the court system and law enforcement agencies to seize and sell the real estate, or garnishes the wages of delinquent tax payers. Provides mediation or arbitration for persons who believe they have been unfairly treated.
