Must be: (1) at least 18 years old, (2) Berks County resident or connections/ties to Berks County, (3) be chronically homeless as defined by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, and (4) have a substance use disorder.

Individuals complete and submit an application. Interviews are conducted to further assess those who appear to meet admission criteria. Admission decisions are based on information from the application and interview.
Fees
Housing fees assessed at 30% of an individual's net income, not to exceed a maximum amount that is adjusted annually. For 2026, the maximum amount is $720.00/month.

Individuals receive supportive services including recovery support services, educational groups, life skills education, and transportation as they live as independently as possible. There is no predetermined length of stay.

A nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of homeless individuals recovering from the effects of substance use disorders. Offers drug-free, recovery oriented, supportive housing programs with daily programming, structure, accountability, and life skills groups. Housing programs are designed for persons experiencing chronic homelessness; and some beds are available on a self-pay basis to Berks County residents.
