About Gleaning: The Chester County Food Bank plants and harvests fresh produce through our Gleaning Program. Last year we grew an average of 70,000 pounds of food from 40 participating farms. In the Spring and Fall, we harvest the produce grown with the help of over 600 volunteers and use this food to feed families.
