Have serious emotional and/or behavioral difficulties.Be at-risk of needing treatment in a psychiatric hospital, residential treatment facility (RTF) or other out-of-home setting.Need an intense mental health service. Typically, other types of mental health services should be tried prior to FBMH.Have at least one adult family member or caregiver who is willing to participate in the childâs treatment.
