Lancaster Recreation Commission - Senior Center

A cooperative program of the City of Lancaster, Lancaster Township and the School District of Lancaster. Provides a wide variety of opportunities for senior citizens to participate in recreational activities. Activities include: - Exercise classes, such as aerobics and Tai Chi - Art classes, such as painting and art studio - Various dance classes - Lancaster Senior Orchestra and Touch of Jazz Quartet - Bridge and other types of clubs - Holiday, special events and birthday parties - Informative programs held at a breakfast or lunch - Pinochle games and parties - Volunteer opportunities available - Weekly Bingo - Weekly programs at center locations - Special events that include two major fundraisers - LRC Senior Center open Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 12 pm; lunch served daily.

Must be age 60 years or older for Office of Aging funding of the Lancaster Rec Senior Center
