Bureau of Property Maintenance and Housing Inspections
Investigates complaints about housing code violations including unsafe housing, no heat in rental units, high weeds/grass, sewer vents, trash, rats, and more. Conduct complaint-based inspections when notified through Housing Hotline or email to report property maintenance violations. Housing inspectors are assigned to areas that correspond with the neighborhood policing districts.
