Provides services including:
  • Monitoring of amateur radio service for motorist safety and assistance
  • Education for communications licensing including FCC amateur radio license and science day for school children
  • Worldwide message transfer using Amateur Spectrum, Packet systems, and Fax service
  • Assistance with evacuations in the time of major disasters
  • Scientific and technological presentations to schools, upon request
  • Mentor contact for schools in area for communication contacts with the ISS space station.
  • Conducts classes free of charge for amateur radio license and performs FCC testing for applicants, for persons interested in acquiring license
-Offers a newsletter 'K3IR News' and makes it available on website
