Lancaster County Central Park is the home of the Lancaster County Environmental Center. Naturalists conduct public programs, classes for organized groups, in-service training for teachers, and environmental education workshops. Programs for groups may be scheduled for anytime.
Program descriptions include:
General nature hikes and explorations
Wildlife (Birds, insects, mammals, food chains, plants, reptiles)
Habitats and crafts
Environmental issues
Stream studies
Maple sugaring
Geology
Canoe trips
Compass
In addition, programs can be designed to meet special needs and topics.
