Pregnant women, women who are breastfeeding a baby under one year of age, women who have had a baby in the past six months, and children under age 5: parents, step-parents, guardians, and foster parents of children under age five can apply for their children. A private non-profit health and human services organization, MFHS works to meet the health and nutrition needs of Northeastern Pennsylvania's women, children and families with information, education, and quality care. Available programs include the WIC Nutrition Program, Reproductive Health Services, Nurse-Family Partnership, Maternity Services and SafeTeens.org.
