Lehigh County Truancy Intervention Program (LC-TIP)
Truancy intervention is provided to identified schools and supported through the United Way and other donation dollars at no fee to the family. Staff works with the school-identified youth that missed ten or more days of school. Services can be from one to two hours per week and may include tutoring, mentoring, and counseling for both the youth and their family. Concrete needs of the family are also addressed. The youth and his or her family may be seen in school, home, or other community sites.
