Provides a housing subsidy through the York Housing Authority for those homeless individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness who are willing to participate in programs through York/Adams HealthChoices Management.

Maintains the mission of York County Human Services Division to provide equal access to services that support the safety and well-being of all eligible residents in a timely and cost-effective manner. Provides oversight of the following through the administrative office: Area Agency on Aging; Office of Children, Youth, and Families (Child Welfare Hotline: 1-800-932-0313); York-Adams Mental Health/Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (York-Adams MH-IDD); York-Adams Drug and Alcohol Commission; York-Adams Health Choices Management Unit; and York County Youth Development Center.
