Provides a waiver for individuals with a disability who previously received services through the Independence, CommCare, or Aging Waivers. These individuals select or are automatically enrolled in one of three managed care organizations (MCOs) that have contracts with the state. Services are obtained through service providers who have contracts with these managed care organizations. Services include all the Home and Community-Based Services formerly provided by other waivers, plus a few new ones, for older adults and adults with physical disabilities or traumatic brain injury.
Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation
Provides services to help people with disabilities and older Pennsylvanians get the assistive technology they need with low-interest and 0% interest financial loans. Provides information and assistance about possible funding resources. Offers a funding guide as a resource to help individuals understand how to fund assistive technology and make informed decisions.
