Food Pantry and Congregate Meals

*due to covid only the emergency food pantry is available* Provides breakfast cooked to order, as well as hot and cold lunches. Lunch reservations must be made 3 days in advance. Lunch may be eaten at the Center or taken home. A free box of non-perishable food is available to qualifying seniors each month through the Senior Food Box Program. To qualify, you must be 60 or older and meet certain income requirements.

Hours

Emergency food pantry hours: Weekly on Wednesdays, 9:30am to 11:30am if there is inclement weather on Wednesday of any given week then the pantry plans to try to open on the closest Friday, 9:30am to 11:30am.

Breakfast: A donation of $4.00 is suggested.<br>Lunch: 60 and older- A donation of $2.00 is suggested; Younger than 60, a donation of $4.50 is requested.

West Chester Area Senior Center

The West Chester Area Senior Center, a non-profit organization, provides services and programs to persons sixty years or older without regard to race, color, creed, handicap, sex or national origin. The Center is funded in part under a contract with the Chester County Department of Aging Services. Funding is also provided by the Chester County United Way, monies raised by the Board of Directors, Advisory Council, Planning Council, group donations, individual gifts and memorials, wills, and bequests.
